What is Involved?

Part 1. A Theory/ hazard awareness test...........Part 2. A driving test............Part 3. A test on instructional ability.

Cost:

This can vary from person to person depending on previous experience, bad habits and attitude. Essentially, we charge £200 for part 1, £35 per hour for parts 2 and 3, so If you want to you can just pay as you go. However, if you would like to save some money, we have some attractive packages at discounted rates.

Duration:

Altogether, allowing for test dates, it takes approximately between 8 to 12 months to complete the training. The speed of the training is governed by you as it is carried out on a one to one basis. Most trainee instructors start working after passing Part Two (about half way through the course).

We are an ORDIT certified training establishment (Official Register of Driving Instructor Trainers), which means we are checked by the DSA every two years for standards of service.Click on the ORDIT link below to see the government’s list.
You should trust your training to a certified establishment, shouldn’t you?

To our knowledge Martin Ferid who is in charge of training is the first and only ORDIT registered instructor ever to receive straight 6’s on an ORDIT check test.  
A grade 6 is the highest grade an instructor can get but straight 6’s on an ORDIT test is unheard of. If anyone achieves it, call Martin Ferid and he’ll buy everyone of you a drink! There have be no calls to date!!

All training is conducted on a one to one basis. Don't you want to be treated as an individual instead of one of many?

We may not be the cheapest, but you will get what you pay for. You could pay a lot more money and still be where you are today.
